Was still a bit behind with his weight but will be back on the 21st, has overcome far greater hurdles in his life and this will be a walk in the park in comparison...
Give everything but up!

Can't wait for his return
Brilliant jockey and a great character
Racing is boring without him
Can we clone him?

Pity we don't have hurdles here! It would be just the thing for him.
I wish Manne would come back, he's more fun and nonsense than the rest of the jockey room put together when it comes to post-race interviews. Pity he's interviewed less and less often these past couple of years.

My first great memory of racing is Free My Heart beat Jet Master (showing how recent my interest in racing is...)... and the interview with Andrew Fortune was hilarious !!! A great character and even greater is the effort he has put in to straighten out his life and now help others...it must be a constant battle (as all addiction is)...

When he is on Titch's website, you not only get good summaries, but he comes out with some classic chirps.
He did one summary with Strydom and they were like Stadler and Waldorf.very funny

Just read his chapter in Charls book
Scary the things he was doing when in control if a horse
Great that he turned his life around

Now that was a good, decisive ride on Miss Saigon.
Had to work hard and he looked like he was riding shorter in the stirrups.
