In honour of Englanders tireless efforts:
Race 1
Due to a lack of credible opposition, whatahottie looks difficult to oppose. Improvement expected from Taso, the Sailor over the extra furlong and minus his marbles. Not sure about an AP Arrow over a sprint trip even if out of a National Assembly mare, so will give MDK 1st timer a miss
Race 2
Chilli Chocolate looks the one. Interesting money for the exposed Misty Winter but not for me. Blue’s Romance can improve and will respect any money for Kalanchoe, especially given the draw compared to the fav.
Race 3
Bad dream has obv credentials but im hoping they are on top of Dance Critic’s antics at the gates and then areal runner. Rose of Castille to complete the trifecta
Race 4
Hyaku the most room for improvement. Swift Fox has competed against far better but returns from a rest so will judge perceived well being based on any support. Chestnut Charger v consistent form and jumps from a favoured outside draw and if I had to pluck one from the bottom of the weights would look for a surprise from beat the odds.
Race 5
Think bookies have it right pricing it a 3 horse contest. Pick a number, I cant
Race 6
As many of the field as u can afford.
Race 7
The bad news for those of us allergic to backing short priced favs is that the unbeaten Silver Class looks to appreciate the extra on breeding. I may just add in the rested Divano to make exotics pay.
Race 8
The problem with looking past Bernadine is that you then need a few in the exotics.

Hi GUYS
Some good comments. Thank you
Chilli choc for me too. Must be the bet of the century especially now it is drifting like this. Pity all the doubles are not at S/P odds
Also taking places on Cape MARIGOLD, but worried Chad cannot have 2 good races in a row because I make him 3rd race winner

Leon the bookies know more than us and probably more than the trainers. They not going to drift a horse from 6-10 to 18-10 to give us free money.

Fortunately I had those places on Marigold. Now to see if Chad can go one better on Rose of Castille.
In retrospect the Strydom factor must have steeked me into believing the drift was a hoax. He regularly makes that happen to bookies when he gets a chance ride with half a chance.
Note to self: Don't be a doos concentrate next time
