when I saw the fixtures I said to myself, and in fact I even posted it on ABC that Man `United will win their opening 6 matches. How wrong was they have only won 1 in 5.

this is similar to real Madrid. They win big and the also lose big as both sides have suspect defences. Chelsea will score 6 against them and it would not be a surprise if United also score 6

Would have won that 5 or 6 -1 probably with a different ref CnC, shocking. Yes, United could have reacted better but sometimes it can be very difficult when things happen so quickly. Best ref we have? farking hell.
