Another hugely difficult day to decipher in more ways than one.

The Bremner stable is one that has become increasingly difficult to "read". I am very wary of their runners generally and more specifically in the first two today. GVN appears to be their jock for the day, he doesn't have a particularly good record with them but nevertheless one would think he would get their best rides on the day. The money though in the first two has come on the ones that Yeni and Herholdt ride and they have but one and two rides for the stable respectively. So, which are the stable preferences. Who knows! Transparency again sorely lacking when needed.

Another thing noted are the Agrella rides. And, just one off the top of my head, Cheyne on Rushing Elf.

May all be nothing of course but these are the type of things that get in my head in PE and which can make it such a difficult place to punt, saps confidence on the ones I actually prefer. The increasing lack of input (and views!! lol) on the daily threads does imply to me that I am not the only one who feels like this and I say again, unless the industry makes huge and quick strides with regard to transparency then "Rush" etc have no chance.

As usual I would probably do better with a pin as there is nothing I particularly like today and most races have 5 or 6 numbers scrawled as big possibles let alone those in with a squeak! lol My very little confidence preferences and miniscule idiots...

R1 A Bit Of Alright (Best of Broadway, Vishnee)
R2 JP's Prince (to prove my idiocy I am even going against the owner lol and have nibbled at Satchmo, yes the draw is bad but the field looks weak and plenty have something to prove at the distance. Satchmo has had one or two fair runs at the d, seems to prefer the poly and hopefully won't be coughing, all the best with your runners Peter and thanks for the summary)
R3 Lady Silvia (Fragile Flower, Bryonybrightwater)
R4 La Salle (another... I liked Bride's Dowry but can't be sure/confident with the jockey bookings even though Minnie is the regular rider of the former, Rushing Elf nags)
R5 Flying Gallileo
R6 Sir Duke (but Brother In Arms possibly better value and So You Think a big runner if all well on the day)
R7 Asgard for value
R8 Stormin Cat, Pegged For Glory (Honour Melchizidek, Coniston Gold)

Be(s)t of luck to all

My trainers' views on my runners:
Satchmo- is a happier horse of late and the plan is to settle behind and hopefully will be running on. Kennedy has been replaced by Cheyne due to flight issues.
Careless Love- working very well and with some luck in the running from the draw in with a big chance. Should have no problem with the 1900m.

Sh1t, would have won under Kennedy ;) Hopefully that effort was a pleasant surprise Peter, well done :) Shame I could only take first three though! lol
