Race 1 - Drier has a great record in Cape Town so lots of respect for his runner. Jockey dropped him out on debut and he should come on for the run.

Race 2 - Power King had excuses last time and should make improvement and make amends. Helderberg Blue also entitled to improve.

Race 3 - Candaleeyah should be in the money again.

Race 6 - Henry of York ran 3rd behind Bouclette Top last year (who contests the feature in Jhb) and has his 3rd run in Cape Town. This distance will suit better and his MR has dropped.

Race 8 - Dynastic's form a bit disappointing but gives the impression this course and distance will suit much better.

Surruptitious to place @1.3/1 (3 paying). really hope I have time to get to Kenilworth later, been way too long.

for me personally... NOT a good ride from king karl.
