Craig says Chill is working well and with the 4kg claim he is a big runner. The only surprizing/worrying thing is he looks like he is throwing a winter coat!

Is this horse really rated 110 ?? Is a 6 year old that has gone up 14 points in last 3 runs...

Beat Kingston Boy by +-2,5 lengths at level weights 3 runs back and Kingston Boy now rated 100 after latest win...this is highest rating by this horse since November 2013 when rating of 102 included arbitrary 6 point increase...

I make Showmetheway a max of 105/6 (through Kingston Boy) which puts horses 1,2,4 on equal handicapping terms for this race...

If Showmetheway is less than officially rated in your opinion, then he must be the one to beat as suggested by Mac, because he is conceding less weight than he should be, not so?

On what is reflected in the Computaform, Isobar should be carrying 54.5kgs, so is 2.5kgs out with Showmetheway, and Kingston Boy should be carrying 58.0kgs, which makes him 3.0kgs out with # 1.

That aside, in Showmetheway's last run, not only did he give Pej 10.5kgs, he beat Normanz (Grade 1 winner), in that self-same race at level weights.

The value certainly lies with Showmetheway, if only the betting would come up.

On official ratings, Showmetheway is a near certainty...just think that the official rating is 4-5 points too high (6 year old having 14 point increase in last three runs is a bit much to ask and rare to see such improvement from an older horse) which brings the 2 and 4 almost level on handicap terms if Showmetheway is a 105/106...

Thanks TN, I get your point, and there should not be much between the three at the finish, should be an exciting finish. ;)

Just typed up a long analysis and have lost it so I won't do that again.

In short, I liked snowman, some very useful form lines but drawn badly so won't have a punt of a large nature.

Don't leave Kelikote express out of anything, wouldn't surprise me to see him in the money.

Assegai looks hard to beat and the price reflects that, only danger for me is 2nd fav with Delpech up and yard rates that horse when he behaves.

Royal colors will probably win again but il be looking for value in victory emblem who's well in at the weights with royal colors.

Play well chaps
