Having said that, I do believe RIB is a massive runner today. We all know what happens to juveniles and their MR's when winning. After winning, he did put in two fair performances before having a break. Since returning from the break, the MR of 86 was obviously not correct, and in his first run back, albeit soundly beaten by Antwerp (14/09), had a valid excuse. The second run after the break was a week later and first time the poly. Again he can be excused because he appeared to be slow away. Third run after the rest, he took on (marginally) stronger but put in a better performance from a wide draw.

His MR has dropped 7 points in just under two months, and from a decent draw today, if he gets away on terms, I make him the one to beat - 11/2 is a very good price, think he will start shorter come race time.

Scratched :(

race 4 - Chillingham my best bet of the day @12's. Will improve from that first run after rest and the draw will make the difference this time.

TML,

Which one is it going to be ?

Salander in the 1st, or Chillingham in the 4th.

It can't be both !

From what you say about Black Velvet, it seems to be Chillingham.

A much better price too.

Black velvet to win
Salander value on the place
Chillingham e/w value. Weighted to place.
