Tory Mor in 1975 Edinburgh Cup final did 27.67 for the standard distance. I think it also won the Puppy Derby the year before.
Obviously no cans of Ambrosia creamed rice involved there.
Here is one of big Mick with Frankel earlier this year. A bit less hair. He's the one on the left.
