Bookmakers cover themselves with an "obvious mistake" clause.
I can understand this, however I think it may be open to manipulation as the definition of obvious mistake is totally theirs.
50-1 however is an obvious mistake and your bet will be cancelled or changed to 16-10 odds ( possibly even after the event)
Interestingly enough though, I cant find the rule on the sportingbet website. Most bookmakers have it fairly easy to find.

Yesterday they(sportingbet) still had 7/1 on Seven Stars. Was 33/10 elsewhere. Managed to get 11/2 though on Bet365, but wasn't void after the track switch
unlike the local bookies who abandoned.

Race 3- I fancy Beaufort Sea. Good each way bet step up in distance will definitely suit as it is a fortwood breed. The last two runs looked promising. Otherwise I really like Peace Pact today. Good draw. Grant knows the horse and a good run behind Zambezi river in that feature race. The run prior was also well in a higher mr race.

All in the mind was 8/1 easy in the UK when it was 7/2 in SAF
One of the reasons I had my accounts closed by most bookmakers is because they are lazy and don't update prices regulary, they just Barr you for being a wide boy

I went onto the Betting world site at 09.00am this morning and in Race 4 it showed that that the three Snaith runners were scratched no,s1,6,7 now I see that there are prices next to them. Can anybody help please to whether they are scratched or not.

Race 1 - except for Fat Bottom Girl, raced runners look fairly ordinary. The unraced wouldn't have to be too good to feature.
Race 2 - Black Belvedere's last 2 runs this distance pretty good
Race 3 - looks between 2 and 4
Race 4 - Silver Salver seems to have had problems but won in good time this c & d
Race 5 - Vogue Idea ran well this c & d last time after a break when drawn deepest
