A 2 week holiday for a family of 5(peak holiday period) will set you back at least 20-25k in accomodation
alone, plus jolling money n so forth, I would say maybe 40k in total

It's mad for tt to endorse this ,there are ppl with real problems who deserve public donations

I will be meeting with Molly at the Vaal over the next 24 hrs and post his comments.
We were approached by 2 separate sources to post on site but as Bob mentioned we declined.

Magi needs a shoulder op as the first one was unsuccessful. Now this is a very good cause to donate to as the injury is inhibiting my ability to swing my baseball bat. Furthermore, I incurred the injury on ABC duty when kerthunking James Blond on his solid bone cranium and the recoil tore some ligaments {thinks}....or was it when Davetheflower rubbished my football side and I had to chastise him with a few solid wacks to the head and shoulders???? No....I remember clearly now... It was when trying to hit that scrawny Hoender Chicken n Chips.... The coward would not stand still and take it like a man...or is that a chicken?
Now some of you might have noticed that the forum is getting a bit unruly lately, what with Sly posting pictures of EMPTY liquor bottles... {face turns purple with indignation}...Sacrilege that is!!!! Needs a good wolloping....and as for that Haupie character...he needs a few good smacks to encourage him to post more...that avatar of his keeps us old timers blood pressure spiking very naaicly indeed.

I could go on and on.... But I am sure you all agree... Is a very good cause so gooi your ching my way. I need the money as the shoulder must be ready for my trip to the Dubai World Cup....

The solution is quite simple...if you are for it, donate and if not, don't, but why have a go at the man??
Also having a go at Nico is way offside imo lets not forget he had a life threatening disease which thankfully he beat and yet all that seems to bother some is that he "made money out of it" that has to rate as the most heartless and groundless statement of all time...what he had to go through (and still does) no amount of money can compensate for.
I for one wish Molly well and will gladly donate towards his op and pray that he will get through it without complications, he has given me as a punter years of great service and loads of laughs and hopefully will continue to do so for years to come..
Give everything but up!

IMVHO..........................

Tellytrack should have ONE on-course presenter only, in this way there is nothing for the 2 presenters to agree or disagree on.

Here are some real pearlers especially from the female presenters on TT..................

Yesterday at P.E.............." and that's why punters are enjoying her! " referring to Katie' em.

From down South this phrase is used all the time..........." ears are pricked ". :P Note no tongue-tie or twist or battling for words when this phrase is used by the ex-jockette.

In Gauteng..................it's ALWAYS about the fillies and mares and geldings but the best one is.........." good to see you are doing your job Lyle ". Ok so I'm the boss.

With the monies saved in airfares etc, TT you are welcome to start a MOLLY BENEFIT FUND and have a MOLLY BENEFIT RACEDAY with obviously................ONE on-course presenter.

Without all the facts we are purely speculating. Let Dave meet up with Molly and give the feedback, we can all then make up our individual decisions as to donate or not.

The man has a contract in place, is constantly paid an income.......absolutely no reason why he shouldn't have any medical insurance, absolute poor planning on his behalf.

My old man retired early and lived off fresh air for years because he had bad knees, sure we all have down on their luck friends or relatives that had had some financial difficulty due to illness?it`s part off life unfortunately. Some are lucky like Molly and have their other incomes to fall back on in their downtime, molly will recover and be able to work in the future, others are not so lucky..
