it appears that the outside rail is helping the horses. The track is obviously running much quicker there as well.

Conglomerate was setout winner the second Act of War was scratched, think about it two Jooste owned horses, Act of War would have won on his coconut but 2/10 seriously no value so let's save him for the Met, Conglomerate stable companion fired off the boards literally.. at a big price of 5/1. So AOW should win the Met,

I cannot agree more. PS was almost desperate to stay wide so he could come wide in the straight
No doubt Louis the King will be hovering 3 deep around the corner

Queens Plate meeting should be run over two days. An evening meeting on the first with 6 races and and 8 race meeting on the 2nd day. More interest, more tv money, more spectators over the two days, more drinks sold, more food sold and people will bet more. Just what I would do if I was the main guy.

Surely TT could have done better than Neil Andrews?
Everything gets turned into a joke, takes away from a great days racing.
That interview with DB was cringe worthy how he kept calling him back.

Problem is South Africans cannot go big two days in a row. The Friday before the Met is already a huge party - not sure what the guys are up to Friday Queens plate but I don't think it's sustainable - They spend masses on advertising and still the course is not full so to split it over two days would really dilute the attendance. This is a superb crop of 4 year olds yet the course is still not full - I think better to keep growing this day as it is
