race 1 Princess Royal. Hope she is half as good as her sister. She shows pace at home and we would like to see her run in the first 3 today to get a run on Met day.
race 5 Western Wu. A most frustrating horse. Has to be better than his recent runs, and this is probably his best distance. Will pop up one of these days but only he knows when.
race 8 Omaticaya. has disappointed her last two, but hopefully we have got on top of her problems. Won this race last year, but a very open race with a few that have tumbled in the ratings( eg Black Kitten; Alascan Maiden) which are very well in if they recapture their earlier form.

Howzit Greg, Sail South is better suited to the 1400m than both Ze Kaiser and It Is Written, whom I think will prefer slightly further. The form behind his last win has held up, Solar Star came out and beat some fair sorts in his very next start.
