A good guy and a great jock
My best memory of him was after he ran 3rd in the Met behind Pocket Power,he said
"i would have finished a lot closer had i got a clear run"
The next year i could'nt get enough of River Jetez! 16/1 - 12/1 -8/1 - 12/1
Well done Glen, you had a great innings

My earliest memory of Glen Hatt was in 1995 when I was Standard 9 and backed him to win the Gold Cup on Milleverof at any price for David Payne. Fond memories.
My Dad took the same horse on my behalf !! I didn't then know (or care) who the jockey was but I was grateful for the cash I collected...
Remember him riding Kapil to win going away on the outside at Greyville...
All the best in retirement...
Thanks for correction...my error...

What a great pity. Thanks for the ride Glen Hatt, your contribution to the sport has indeed been one that can be reflected with admiration and a fine example for younger jocks to follow.

Great jockey! I wish him al the luck in his future endeavors.
The look on his face when futura won the met,
Happiness yes bt also disapointment at the same time.
That moment, that win, shud've been his with futura.

Team Valor did not get an opportunity to use him much, but when we did, he gave it everything he had. Very strong, professional rider, the type that does not come along very often. Wish him the best of luck and hope he stays in racing.
