DTF The Koran also teaches : "Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loves not transgressors." The message is clear: Fight back "if you are attacked by your persecutors, but don't fight back indiscriminately. Follow the rules of engagement." and according to mainstream Muslim clerics, those "rules of engagement"' are explicit: women, children, and innocent civilians are off limits.
The Koran in its entirety is clearly against violence but hand picking certain passages and tailoring them to suit ones own agenda is not unlike what the many Christian Extremists have been doing with the bible for ever and a day...
As Mr H pointed out these perpetrators are terrorists hiding behind a religion and should be looked upon and treated as such...

We are going through horrible times and events on this planet, one can only think it will get worse before it gets better, if it will ever get better?

Titch,please don't think I'm ignorant.Im fully aware that 99% of followers of Islam are peaceful,family orientated human beings.But some take the verses to an extreme.
Some won't condemn these acts,for fear of being labelled a hypocrite.
The Koran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.
Unfortunately, there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to abrogate or even balance out the many that call for nonbelievers to be fought and subdued until they either accept humiliation, convert to Islam, or are killed. Muhammad's own martial legacy - and that of his companions - along with the remarkable stress on violence found in the Koran have produced a trail of blood and tears across world history.
I think all media,press and social media should have a total blackout of these killings,this is what these animals thrive on.
