wait there are more favorites

I m not usually a player of favourites but I backed that one purely on the fact that he had a run and finished 2nd. Staying well clear of the favourites for the rest of the day

Neigh, I have no doubt you mean well and it is all very much tongue in cheek but I have to say (confess) that for me the lack of transparency, honesty, whatever you want to call it is no laughing matter. Punters are too often backing horses "blind" to all the "truths" in a race and therefore, for want of a better term, are simply being robbed by those who do know. It is blatantly ethically wrong and must change. I will leave it there as I have expressed my views many times but, I do know this, though it is possible it may make no difference, no changes in racing will mean no changes to bringing in more punters. The silence of the masses though would seem to indicate most are not bothered so, as with most things which p1ss off the likes of me who want to see change for the betterment of SA racing, nothing much is likely to happen and the coffin nails will just gradually sink a little deeper and deeper.

Just a small e/w patent for me today...

R8 Set Your Sights
R9 Storm Faerie

Be(s)t of luck to all

Engles, chill out.I thought Neighs chirp was funny.
We all know transparency is your biggest gripe in racing.

I agree 100% with englander. How where we supposed to know the first timer in race 2 was going to win?14-1 out to 20-1 and backed into 16-1 just before the off so someone put R100 on the horse. The other first timer karl rode came in from 33-10 to 15-10 early and then drifted to 6-1 before the off.Goosen tells us to watch the betting on the first timers and we will know if they are fancied. How can a horse be backed heavily in the morning and then drift so alarmingly? Was it proper money or do the bookies know something we don't.

Dave, I did kind of say I appreciated Neigh was being amusing and my response was of course not meant in any derogatory manner towards him as I hope I made clear. As for chilling out over such subject matters, won't happen I'm afraid, they just p1ss me off.

Presenters mentioned that race 1 and race 3 winners were fancied to run well so at the price were worth a small bet.

Black Toga is having his 3rd run after a long rest should be cherryripe. Looked lovely going to the start. If he shows anything near to his earlier form he will destroy this field. Looks a massive runner today.
