I have to disagree with this in the strongest terms.

The horse has health issues that are well known, he is known to not enjoy his racing and has time and again earned a comfortable retirement.

R100K feature race in Kimberley? He ran Pomodoro to within a nose-hair of winning the July FFS.

It is the owner's legal prerogative to do with the horse as he sees fit, but there is NOTHING about this that is in anyway right.

Not my horse however NO horse of mine would ever be forced to do that ever. He has done his owners proud earned them lots of money and at his old age he still has to be in the army..not right at all!!

Did he wear the Cornell Collar yesterday ? anyone?
