R4 Chepstow Grey Gold. Whilst Sire de Grugy can certainly win this, he represents poor value at around evens (should be a 6/4 shot in this for me). Even if he is back to his best after his Newbury mishap, he faces a tough task giving lumps of weight to Grey Gold and Far West. The selection likes Chepstow (was just touched off in this race last year) and will enjoy only having 10-6 on his back (has carried 11-2 or more in his last nine outings). Represents good value here at 7/2.

R5 Chepstow Hansupfordetroit E/W. Has run three very good races since being returned to hurdles this season. Will have no problems with the track, distance or going and can make the frame at a generous looking 9/1 in what doesn't look a particularly strong race for the grade.

Sorry, Bob, hadn't seen your new thread with the same title - please add this post to your thread. Thanks

Boys get on OPERA LAD at Lingfield, best bet of the day!!!

Outsider must be Elusive Ellen, beat a horse rated 98 last time, unless that was a fluke then the 7's and 14/10 a place worth a wee punt.
