Whoah you obviously know zip about racing.. Racing is about one thing.. Winning.. When you pay for horses on time and you have a good horse you expect the team including the jockey to play their part.. Yes the Shams played their part.. That horse was never ready to run in Jhb please look at the Jhb trainers stats.. I bought the horse as a favor to Ziets for that stable.. however when moved to PE it had to improve.. Look at the horse and look at his pedigree.. Stuff running a good race!! The only reason he lost was because Richard Fourie is a top class Jock if you want confirmation please phone the Snaith yard... That loss was unacceptable to me as I had flown the Jock to PE on Sunday nite to at least work him once before the race on Monday.. I tried my best with what was available.. He apologized after the race for many things he did wrong.. The lesson is if you have a good horse get a proper Jockey to ride him.. As the Doyan Mr Ferrearis who said the other day in a post race interview... This will never happen to me again unless I as many owners do pay their bills 6 or 7 weeks late.. Then as an owner who cares

The winner of the listed race always looked tough to beat despite the 1,50kg weight turn-around, I'm not sure what instructions were given to the jock but from what I heard (didn't watch) sounded a very credible run from NH, and a close one too.

No need to apologise Oscar, I understand the connections must be gutted, especially when it's so tightly contested. Just wanted to thank you and the rest involved for informing the members and viewers of this forum on the horses well being! It's really you guys, all of you that make racing in this country really entertaining and enjoyable.

It was a compliment .

No 1What must we ask Snaith ???.Reading sporting post your horse is lucky to have run so close to Charles Lytton for all the problems he had -- travelling stumbled etc .Maybe Snaith wants your horse because he was a threat in yesterdays run .Very good talkers the Snaiths are .
