they should in all honesty restrict the fields on the poly to 12 runners as horses drawn wider than that might as well not even turn up as they have almost zero chance.

I took a chance on the tote and was looking at R4.80 a win on the 2nd horse, not too much mention regarding the 6/10 a place tax free on the favorite...swings and roundabouts
Give everything but up!

Titch,the problem with value prices on the tote, is that they always refer to bets you wish you had taken!!!!!!!!..............forgetting that if you had taken them,you would have removed the value you so excited about......................lol
No serious punter can possibly leave the value factor to chance ...............and Titch,I know for a fact that you don't :lol:

Exactly that Rob.And with the bookies I can choose when to place the bet with the tote the last payout is what you get.The tote take 25% of the pool so if a horse should pay R1.25 a place it pays R1.The value on the tote is usually when a rank outsider wins.

and they are only value because know one backs them on the tote
