I don't like critisizing people who do things with good intentions
My gripe with the old site was that if you leave it for a few mins, you must log in again
I hope the new one will not be the same
My first problem with this new platform is that i want to play the Jackpot Quickmix
You click on Fields then you will see the runners but you have to guess where the races is run
Except for Greyville obviously
What really pissed me off now,is that i tried to place a swinger bet Greyville R6 No's 4and8
I could'nt get it on! the site say;REQUESTED RUNNER COMBINATION IS NOT AVAILABLE!
SHIT
I now have to agree instead of improving things, they just fuck it up more
I am still pissed off but what can i do?

I see what they've done there... The site has been re-created in what programmers refer to as a "responsive layout" style. This means that the elements will flow so that as much as possible is visible when the screen width is changed. Developers like it because you can have one set of source code which will display correctly (!) on desktops, phones, etc. I personally don't like it because it gives a lowest common denominator feel to everything instead of designing for and taking advantage of the users' actual device.
Otherwise it just appears to be a re-skinning of the underlying systems; the database and functionality remains the same.
I hope they keep the old site available. It's fast and practical, but yes, the short cookie timeout also annoys me.

...now I see that the Tabonline site has been changed to match the changes made to the "new"online betting portal....this subject may warrant a seperate thread.....my 2 cents worth.....is the same as my input here.....why change something that was working.....are they on a cost cutting drive ....or have to merely justify further IT expenses....is this goimg to boost online betting parcipitation and sort out the high betting volumes on big race days....or just further fustrate the online betting participant....sure it looks more simplified but am I alone in not being able to adapt......

Nice that they don't make change for the sake of it................................. Site still slow to update as the staff are just as incompetent and unmanaged as ever!!!!

It is always indicative how much the customer counts when you look at the attention to detail .................................
Important:throwing the switch without adequate testing to ensure ongoing service ..........pretty basic you would have thought.
Unimportant (but irritating)the home page defaults to the results of the equus awards in 2009?????? WHY? no matter how many times you reset it ,it defaults!!!! on every device I have ,so it's not my settings..................who cares???

It was working fine yesterday. Now you have to change your phone setup

You need to set you phone on screen rotate. Thereafter you can only see the betting by rotating your phone to a horizontal angle. You wont be able to see it with your phone vertically, lenghth wise.
This is freaking irritating.
