I am thinking of Dutching Maria Theresa and Sprinting Queen - Maria has been sent over ground but her winning form is over 1400m which could be her game - Not often you can get 6-1 on a De Kock and Strydom pair

Does Jayyed not need to win or finish very close in a feature race this season to get in the July ? Small field et al this year
most definitely and he has the ability to do so, my worry (selfishly) is more that he'll end up in dubai rather than run in the july, there were talks of that happening..

This is the best racing thread I have read for ages. Constructive debate around horses chances. Big thumbs up chaps....and Candy :side:

R1 Don't think SJG would have put Hewitson up on the one that was not stable elect. Nibbled before I knew of jockey change but still perhaps to be noted. Also had Aszkaban pencilled in to nibble, too late!! Can't have the fav from that draw, especially in R1 though must have a chance. Gone small on LG's Night Moves but de Lujo, Dusk To Dawn and Sir Trippi all have some sort of claim.

R2 Big ? If forced I would have to do Al Farabi but I'm not forced so I'll pass ;)
R3 Gone Analyse This without the fav
R4 Medium ? If forced I would have to do Pied Piperess but I'm not forced so I'll pass ;) 13, 3, 8 and 2 were others I jotted down

R5 I have Jet Trip to win but the one that interested me somewhat is the reserve Seven Sails. Has had some excuses in defeats and lto in KZN possibly showed signs of improvement. Was a well supported maiden winner on debut and may have more ability than has been apparent to date, done a small e/w. Captain's Diva and Samba Serenade to be thereabouts and Wolverina the ? horse.

R6 Not with this fav, especially at the price. I'll chance Flag Of France to go in again with Move Like Jagger in the vicinity. With the current stable form (small patent done), I am a little wary of Milton. Kapellmeister an inclusion.

R7 I know, I know lol but I just can't bring myself to back Kostya Zu and with little knowledge on the subject, I am not convinced the trip will necessarily suit. I would rather go with Woza Madoda e/w who has been consistent of late and won well last time over c/d despite being drawn on what was probably the wrong side. Potentially well drawn today. Tom Fool respected and at 25s The Mutineer is worth a small e/w, especially with the current stable form. Antonius Charm will get R1 e/w as will Wottahottie despite the draw and having been well beaten by KZ when a maiden.

R8 Very tempted by Be Mine Tonight but not at the price so decided to chance an e/w on Bernadine. China Beach to add value to the trifecta. Jo Malone the ? horse.

R9 Plenty in with a chance. Paree was of much interest but the draw has forced me in another direction and at the prices I think Lady Thistle is worth a go. Ignore the last run (sand) and seemingly a little unfortunate at the start in her penultimate, she must have a fair chance on prior form and is closely matched with a few much shorter priced ones on lines through Iwannabe. Although a very open race, Seattle Trade was my clear second choice, added Fly Phillipa for the trifecta. Striker's only ride for LG today, Phonetic, first run for the yard having arrived from KZN. Could go on re others but enough ;)

R10 King's Wild, imo, MAY have had traffic issues lto but never really looked entirely happy. Worth trying again here for me with Lerena up and a potentially good draw though the step up in d is a slight concern. Inventive Girl and To You may be next best, the latter's very low draw being a concern.

Be(s)t of luck to all
