surely heartland at 8to1 is value and 11to10 4 places a good bet.I remember marcus saying last time that he thought 1400 is to far for kingvolt and today he goes 1600. Heartland wasnt even ready last time.Competitve card today and will tread lightly as better things tommorow in cpt.

Alpine ridge the only bet for me today of any purpose.
Of the main races I feel mac de lago could be something special so e/w places in particular for me on this one.
Good luck gents

R1 I think Roy's Dollar the more consistent and reliable of those with KZN experience. The form of Seek The Summit seems to me to have dropped markedly since an encouraging initial couple of runs and her only run on this hallowed turf inspires little confidence. Forbes rode her for the first 3 runs and is now aboard (his wife(?)'s) RD, for the first time since debut. If STS is back to best then she could be hard to beat but I see no obvious reason to suggest that is the case (of course I am told nothing whereas a few may know a lot more!).
Roy's Dollar for me with a saver on Bespoken who is the potential danger imo.

I fancy Swan Dance in the first despite the fairly wide draw and the fact that the stable companion, Seek The Summit, has finished ahead of her on two occasions. Seek The Summit has proven costly to follow and can win without my money. Roy's Dollar appeared to be going backwards in her only attempt at 1400m, drawn fairly wide today, her finishing effort may be the same as last time. The current favourite, Bespoken, visiting juvenile, draw in her favour, but it's never easy travelling. Swan Dance has shown decent improvement and looks to be coming along the right way, I'll row in with her.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

My small e/w shouts for interest...
R2 Just Like Magic
R4 Royal Tree (on poly form)
R6 Mac de Lago (R1 e/w horse when at 40s)
R7 Sabadell
R8 Warcraft
R9 Lucky And Healthy (form appears probably not as strong as a couple of others but not beaten further than 1.3l in his 2 poly runs and lto on the c, despite losing ground at the start, was beaten only 1.3l by D'Vash who, back in January, was 3.3l in front of 6/1 shot today Killarney House, though that run was over 1600. Took at 50s but even at 25s maybe worth a small nutter involvement)
Preferences R3 Bulleteer, R5 Trophy Wife, R6 The Conglomerate
Be(s)t of luck to all
