I really don't think including this and the highest amount of second places have any place in these awards - Next it will be the most amount of unplaced runs in a season or the horse with the longest tail or nose- Awards should be for excellence at the highest level- It reminds me of USA School Awards where every kid in class gets some award so that they don't feel left out - Racing is about winning Graded races not giving an award to a 4yr old mare that took 15 runs to break her Maiden against the blind school on a Sand Track that can produce ridiculous winning margins - In 4 subsequent runs she has not troubled the judge -
