RACE 1 ALAN GREEFF : Here are the facts...

Since 30 April 2014, the number of stable's runners backed from Opening price is 249 exactly; 39 have won, most recent being STRUBEN and FACINATING FILLY, Charles, Collen, Gift, Greg, Kendall and Nicholas are the jockeys which have won aboard his horses. Charles has 5 wins, Collen 2, Gift 1, Greg 28, Kendall 2 and Nicholas 1. 210 have run 2nd or worse, Greg aboard 104 of those runners. Biggest odds backed winners were first HOWAMI from 28/1 to 3/1, 2nd highest was FACINATING FILLY 22/1 to 3/1 on the 26th May 2014 and 3rd highest was BRIDE'S DOWRY from 22/1 to 7/1 on the 26th December 2014. If a 6% success rate is good enough for you on early backed runners then HIGH FASHION is your horse!

Not about market support today WP, the 10s into 4s lto. But I don't disagree with you, certainly entirely, imo there have been plenty of false markets "created" lately by whoever. That alone would not have been sufficient but combined with the similar distances in defeat and the experience levels when beaten (by SC) tipped the balance for me. Not a race I would have a single on but the small stake 10/1 treble had some appeal. Could all lose, I don't normally do favs! lol

The rest are their usual tricky, or just impossible, selves lol...

R4 Pep Talk but very tempted to go with The Ford, big danger imo. I Will Be likely to also be thereabouts. Will think about Black Platinum as a small value e/w if the price drifts.
R5 Valmode the most likely winner for me with Mystery Leader and Running Back the possible main dangers of just about the entire field. Would have put up Satchmo as an e/w idiot but I'm not sure about all this 16/1 rubbish lol
R6 Lucky Lear possibly the "safe" option. Midnight Magenta a likely danger and I quite like Glittering Jet for a small e/w. Will think about Blue Bay Doll as another small e/w if the price drifts.
R7 Really not sure. I'm with Leodocus in the hope that further improvement is now forthcoming but too many ?s for me to be confident on anything in this one.
R8 No easier. Heliane for me. Rough Justice may be some e/w value. Diamond Diva around.

Be(s)t of luck to all

AGE OF AQUARIUS in race 4 is FAVORITE, albeit a weak one, SIR SWAROVSKI is 25/1 in the same race, on the 20th Feb 2015 SS was 0.30 lengths behind AGE of AQUA and they were drawn 12 and 13 respectively on that day, SS is now 3,50 kg's better off on that run... The pricing really baffles me, I'm not complaining though 25/1 is a juicy prospect

Morning chaps.

I see a lot on here fancy Benedict today. I think we would all agree (with no disrespect to Pe owners and trainer) that say a MR 80 in the cape may be a bit stronger then a Pe MR 80? But regardless of thoughts that's not the issue. Swift Wonder ran a good 3rd in a MR 86 in the cape and has had his MR cut a couple of pounds and "steps up in class to a Pe MR 88"

Who was on SW when producing that impressive run? Mr Cheyne. Who rides today Mr Cheyne. It's not a question whether SW will take to the poly as he has run a 0,25l 2nd to Yoshie on the poly.

All I'm saying is this horse worries me as the money is coming for Benedict but how often does it happen where the less fancied companion throws a spanner in the works.

Other plays for today.
Al Lunam
Shake and bake.

All the best for the day gents.

SW hasn't won for more than a year and a half, too many formlines against him here to be honest, RUSSIAN MIG has him beat stone cold in todays race, BENIDICT beat him by almost three lengths when receiving 7 kg's, today only 3,50 but still not enough IMO, where RM finishes is more or less where SW finishes. Hard to oppose BENEDICT!
