All the best Nic.

Difficult card, some short priced favs where I am not entirely convinced and shocks are not impossible and very little seemingly to choose between a few in the more competitive races.

R1 Red Lunar
R2 Despite the stable, I think there is more in the breeding lines to indicate that Let's Party might go well here. Prefer him to Fabrizio, who imo is 50/50 as to whether he will take to the surface and, at the price, thus one not to play. Not convinced by the form of 7th Lute but if both the others don't go on the surface...
R3 Lady Liberty really should win this unless one of the sand debutants proves decent, there are possibilities in some of the breeding but nothing stand-out for me.
R4 Top 3 in the market all have decent claims but imo not easy to choose between them. I've had idiot nibbles on Jet For Joy and Duchess Catherine who on their day can be competitive.
R5 Open, my preference is for Jaguar, Imperani possible e/w value.
R6 Very open. What About Maria perhaps but partly based on Muzi having choice?
R7 Over Achiever has done nothing wrong and possibly the most likely but I'll take my chances with Cupid's Gold who, though on Bingo debut, has a gold and silver from 2 runs on the Vaal sand. Don't discount Shirla, who beat CG in the "silver" run and though her 2 runs at Bingo do not inspire confidence, she was not the most consistent at the Vaal. All Knowledge R1 e/w.
R8 Very open. I'll stick with The Queen which means reluctantly deserting Rhumba Beat but quite a few in with a shout.
R9 Arctic King is another one where for me it is a toss-up as to whether he will take to the surface or not. Sadhu a decent chance and Luxardo, difficult to know from his one run here when he had excuses but Stef seemed pretty confident pre-race. Il Palio has the form and, unlike some others, the draw and could be the one they have to beat, he will be my tentative selection with Luxardo the big nagger. A few others could be competitive if overcoming their draw.

Be(s)t of luck to all

Outsiders to consider ...Antares Magic, Imperani, West We Go, Gypsy Fair.

I played around with fixed place multiples and a few small win doubles and on the nose.

Why don't owners and trainers first see if the horse acts on the sand before moving the horse to kimberely? What they going to do with fabrizio now that it seems it doesn't like the sand?
