I didn't see the race but the time two seconds slower than the maiden race, so meaningless for form - just a grass gallop, not a race.
Basically , doddled round on the rail, quickened well and eased down a bit and the rest of the field closed down again at line
Think we forget that he's a top class 1600m horse so was entitled to win , but ....

I don't know how else to say it. If futura shows up healthy her wins the July. Plain and simple.
