A tough card but one where some value definitely lies. Haven't played in a few days as the cards have not appealed to me at all so have a bit more money to play with today, my thoughts:
R3 A tricky start to the pa if the De Kock runner isn't as good as the money suggests. Comments suggest "place chance if not too green" and from an awkward barrier. The money can keep coming but I'd much rather have an e/w on blazing brave. First sign and velocity Vossie to be in the vicinity as well.
Blazing Brave x Velocity Vossie x First sign
R4 Winter Al I think will finally get it right today and am willing to give her another chance and banker in the pick 6. Again from the stable comments I highly doubt the money for the Zaki first timer is stable money so I'm going to take a chance and brass her. Cherished Gold, Fiesta and winters hope to fill trifectas for me.
Winter Al x Cherished gold x Fiesta
R5 Not to put people off regardless of whether All the bids was nominated for the July I can't have him, at the same price I'll have an e/w on time of song from the Marwing yard and if he wins I'm certain there will be a few doubles and trebles onto the Barbadian and silver matador who will no doubt shorten. Others worth considering Noble star, Azza arrow, Rocky Stallone and Dynamite Jim. I may kick myself but am going to brass magnum opus.
Time of song x Noble star x Rocky Stallone
R6 The Barbadian as already mentioned I feel has a good e/w chance and there's a little bit of early support. Ganesh and arch rival to make up the trifecta for me. Although Jezero has run well of late I don't think from that draw he will have everything his own way today.
The Barbadian x Ganesh x arch rival
R7 Silver matador the one for me to hopefully give the Marwing yard a treble on the day, I think still has lots of scope for improvement although winning a work riders lto. Look past him and it gets very open. Flaming ace, commodore al, go gold and master and commander to make him run. Master and commander may be better then rated however didn't beat much in his maiden so is a bit of an unknown from that draw for me. SM x Flaming ace x MC / CA
R8 Bad Boy buddy boy has not put a foot wrong and the money continues to pour on him now 3/1 however this race I feel should be 5/1 bar as it is that competitive. Grease paint drops in class and is the class of the race however I feel Mogoks desire could throw a spanner in the works. 20/1 low weight, well drawn, jock has a good record on him il chance an e/w nibble at the odds. I feel Viking hero could also be competitive from the draw with weight off although I'm sure Strydom had choice of rides here (unless Grant maroun trying to negate the hefty rating) for pa and pick 6 purposes il load up here.
Mogoks desire x Bad boy buddy boy x Viking hero / grease paint.
R9 Cosmic Tom is over due another win, with the reserves not running comes into draw 8 which is not as bad as he has encountered of late. I think whatever beats him wins and one that I feel will make him run is Dream leader. Also comes in two barriers into 9 now which is okay. Katch interested me a touch but slightly concerned her taking on the boys although she has beaten the boys before. Manx park and will pays to fight out minor money.
Cosmic Tom x dream leader x Manx park/will pays.
All the best gents.

R2 Khaleesi looks a decent bet, have a concern with the draw but in this field I think Striker should be able to get across if required. Kalahari the exacta. Wedgwood looks to me to be the only potential spanner in the works.
R7 like Flaming Ace e/w a little
Be(s)t of luck to all

Exactly which Toreador are you talking about. There's a load of them running???
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy !!!!!!!

Good to see that magner knows his horses very well.He had the favorite,a well backed first timer who was second favorite and he comes in with another first timer who pays R41 for a win.
