R2 Wicked Lass interests me, drops in class and distance and has the 2 box. Bremner horse with Lerena up and the oppo don't look strong. Written before market support.
R3 Runaway Time might get a couple of rand. Going for small stake value and adding Calico and The Good Wife for my trifecta. Bremner sends one out from a 42 week rest...
R4 Whinking Casanova probably better than recent form and Ponoka shouldn't but... Balado to be nibbled but was on Captain's Slipper lto and will stick with him, positives in the breeding if I remember rightly but Tara saying may still be green. Spekboom, surely not, please..!
R5 Any of a dozen could win this imo. Ultimate Sacrifice up in trip coming out the maidens has a chance but not for me primarily because the Smith stable has not really been firing of late. Also some of the collateral puts him very much in the mix and that is exactly what this race is to me, a "mix". My tentative fancy is Danzey Green. I have been waiting for a return to form and I think there was a hint of it lto, not a bad effort from the widest draw and I think the drop in trip will suit. New Spring the alternative for me, drawn wide but he has gone ok from wide draws before and is one of only two I can see who has run the c/d in sub 71 seconds, at least recently-ish, which he has done twice. Fair enough, plenty not gone over c/d etc. The other one is Polo Warrior who has been nibbled coming from the 2 box. Plenty others have chances...
R6 Copper Parade with Blackmalkin and November Rain possibly the main dangers.
R7 A few have a shout here. I will go with Amarillo Starlight who won well on her Poly debut 2 runs back, albeit over 200 more. Lielums and Yoshie respected and Sarve a bit of a ? for me, could well win.
R8 I have I Will Be to again get the better of Well Informed and on the form line, Laws Of Succession can't be discounted either. Pure Elegance is always worth R1 e/w on the poly if a big price imo, and though this may be a little short of her best d, if you ignore the last 3 which were all on the turf, also ignore the one before when drawn 14/15, and her form starts looking a lot "brighter"...
Not been successful here of late. Maybe me or maybe "games".
Be(s)t of luck to all

They agree today with Winning Edge at 25/1.I say that makes a four place a fair chance. He could go out but its terrible when yours shorten on a wait and see strategy.
JP 52kg 4 GD Smith 6 year old though
ps i also think I Will Be is the horse they all have to beat but Law Of Succession is one of the reason i will go with Winning Edge when you compare the times of Ganicus
hw goes 33/1 and 4,33 places.

Bookies got nowhere to hide.
We hit Love Everlasting in the 2nd
Whether it wins is another story. I hate backing newcomers

Last week behind HEAVILY supported stable companion and over 1400 Rosslyn Chappel sits at the back watching. This week the money comes and he finds himself in front.
Its a rotten game !

If you saw the Betfair activity you would have sworn that Rosslyn Chapel was a oner..........lol
nobody told the winning connections.
They were trying to lay 9/2 about the winner, and couldn't give it away, when the local price was 5/2!!
