Went out there yesterday and one trainer said it looked firmer than it had in a long time but whether it will remain that way for the whole meeting remains to be seen. Remember if the drack does become heavier later in the day include front runners while early races horses might be able to run on a little. Basics though low draws 1200-1450m a must all conditions

Just heard from the track that they are not galloping horses this morning but Jockeys Stipes etc will be there at 10 am to make a call on the condition. The current observation is that the track is in a better condition this week than last. I personally think they will race.

Anyone who read my post the other day for the Kenilworth meeting might remember I was extremely annoyed with a certain bookie, if anyone likes a bit of a yankee with claws today that won his maiden very impressively two runs back then 14s e/w is a very nice price imo and only half that price is available elsewhere I believe...

Be careful!! I don't entirely side with the view that some of last week's results (3/8 favs won) were primarily down to the track, I think they were generally fields with plenty horses out of form and quite a few sand debutants which is always a bit of a gamble. Not sure this week is a whole lot different.

R1 Aznerak... from the sire, if they go well on the grass, they generally do ok on the sand. Wouldn't back at the price (but the likely winner imo) but I would oppose if I could find one that peeked my interest at big odds, and I did lol... Forever A Lady e/w

R2 Don't go there! lol Under great torture I would go with Fiesta De Espana but I doubt I will be having a party after!

R3 Don't go there! Pera Hur R1 e/w

R4 I thought Shamal a decent price for an e/w last night but the price has gone this morning, would still be my selection but only as a small win bet for interest now

R5 The Big Easy did look mighty impressive on debut but didn't beat a lot and on collateral is very short in the market imo. Host of others could beat him but I really can't be sure with any of them, plenty negatives mixed in with the positives for pretty much all of them. So, I am sticking with Roman Carnival in a small e/w, not convinced about the trip or his quality (poor field when winning maiden easily) but worth chancing there is perhaps more to come. Green Rock, if staying, maybe.

R6 American Tiger was very impressive on sand debut, was seemingly a weak field but the second won fairly comfortably nto on the sand and AT was massively eased last 150. Despite that, his time was only 0.7 seconds slower than She's A Tiger's run in the next race. Some of these big margin winners in sand maidens flop next time up on the sand but I think this one will go close if not perhaps p1ssing it. Been wrong before though a massive number of times lol. Unfortunately already halved from 14s to 7s (price has gone now re my post above, if you understood what the hell I was talking about lol) but maybe have a look at the replay. Cosmic Tom the possible danger for me. Eusebius a big price but seems to be the wrong time of year.

R7 Wellesley

R8 Hard to oppose Conne Mara Black but I'll chance Field Cat e/w even though I have a big concern about the distance. Had "excuses" last few.

Be(s)t of luck to all

Thanks Buddy!!!!! :woohoo: ;) As I said on the July comp thread, Powertrip is running 20th June over 1800m been waiting long time for this distance and they mean business this time, the 1400m she ran last time was only to keep her racing fit for the 20th, I am sure we can get a nice price on her
