Race 1: after the scratching of 5, looks a match race between Schachar and Imperial Dancer. As the breeder, I lean towards ID - he should enjoy the extra 200m.
Race 2:Celtic Revival is bred to stay all day and should enjoy the softer going. She bumps a weak field and should make enough improvement after a fair debut to beat this lot. Good Grace has been quite consistent and is the main danger. Natural Beauty should fill the trifecta.
Race 3: a big field and quite a few with chances. If they bunch up on the inside rail then expect a couple of hard luck stories.
Mamselle Al has been consistent lately and is due a win- weak first choice.Gin for Genius and Czarina have chances. Happy Avenue looks the best of the 2yos, and there has been money for Neala. Couple of nice first timers complicate matters.
Race 4: Ledbury has scope for more improvement and is selected to beat Eternal Love and Downton Abbey.

Race 5: anything can win this.
Race 6: after the scratchings, now looks a match race between Tar Heel and Western Storm. Little between them at the weights, so Western Storm better value. Any of the others could show improvement to challenge.
Race 7:Varumba should be too strong here if repeating Jhb form. Banker. Just Felicity the best of the rest, but if Varumba fails, then anything could pop up.
Race 8: Very open race. Crawford has a strong hand with Bella Spumante and Matari- interesting switch of jockeys. Jo's Bond showed very good improvement last time, and is selected to beat her elders.
