The suspension is for a transgression that took place some 6 weeks ago, he signed (ie acknowledge fault) which meant he did not wish to appeal, his suspension was confirmed on Friday and starts after his last confirmed (carded) ride as of that day which is the July day meeting, unfortunate as this may be Im sure that with a 12 win lead and some really good rides to come over the next week Gavin would still have won the title, besides there will still be 3 weeks of the season remaining when S'Manga gets back..and btw gav himself has served 3 1 week suspensions this season..
