i have long thought treve only acts on soft going but reading criquettes comments I am wondering. she reckons it was her feet troubling her and she has sorted them out and treve is now spot on. if she is right and treve goes on the better going then she will beat g h who seems a bit flat to me.

This has obviously been Treve's target all season.
My fear about Golden Horn is that he has been to the well a few times,however he may not run and if he does he has to be supplemented.
After winning the Irish Derby Gosden said he was going for the Arc with Jack Hobbs and true to his word he gave him an innocuous winning blow out recently on the AW and has now got him right for the race.
I think Treve will win but JH is not out of it.

I see from the 24 entries for the Abbaye only 2 from France Eish
The rest came from the UK/IRE and they are not a great bunch ( Meccas angel top class but needs slow conditions ) pity via africa had her problems or she had been winning over there

The stakes are sponsored by the Sheikhs from Qatar who are flush with the proceeds of petrodollars and are the largest exporters of natural gas in the world.

Treve is owned by Qatar racing so they need to get some petrodollars back. :lol:

@mikesack so this is basically the French equivalent to Dubai World Cup lol

Anyway playing e/ w on J Bolgers runners in the first two.
Playing e/w on guys like CS/RM/MG for the remainder of the card.
With money on offer like this every jockey will be trying.
Maybe better to just watch than trying to pick a winner.
