R1 favourite + first timer
i second that. checking tote price seems to be extremely important in sa racin now.[/quote
especially in pe where the right horse gets backed at the end(its too late to get on then)
I'm interested in the Ravishing 2yo from Renate du Plessis yard in the second as the one and two have had umpteen tries

Agree ................but 1mm of rain in 7 days and no irrigation described as "good to soft" is hard to fathom................................and it's vital cos if NOT wet ,Copper Parade is 2/2 course and distance!
Think we need to watch a race to try and figure out what's correct!
Blinkers were left of for a reason last time...

Let's be fair u can't really check tote betting odds as an indicator to a horses chances maybe close to off time it balances out but a rich owner having his grand ew on his 20/1 shot via the machine can make odds very distorted

its going to be interesting to see how many outsiders arrive today. You guys are getting shafted day in and day out. What is puzzling is that everyday you come back for more of the same. Do a magi and switch to UK racing, no you wont win everyday, but you will get a run for your money on every horse in the top half of the betting.

I find the uk riders to be very weak in the finish and would rather back our local top boys ie Superman

:woohoo:     no words required for your ignorance regarding SA jockeys and UK jockeys
ps while Moore rides winner after winner in the classics, your man rides in the sticks aka Pietermaritzburg and still cant get an odds on home

Race 1 - Seattle Swing has experience this cd in a decent field which could make the difference.
Race 3 - Gauteng was badly drawn, sweating up (I think) and didn't settle first start in PE. Should do better today from good draw over shorter.
Race 4 - Plain of Wisdom should be ideally cd suited today(best Cape form this d)
