2yr-olds win both 2nd and 3rd races(first 2) over a mile- This is a good crop compared to last year - I think there will be a 3yr old winner of the July next year

Great to see Cheyne gets ride on COA,but shouldnt owners retained rider be 1st choice considering its a GR1 and the horses final run before stud?

Would it be honourable to ask your jockey to jump of a booked ride at the last minute?

I don't think that beating weak maidens and MR 68 handicappers tells anything about the strength of the crop.
The best of the 2yo colts is Seventh Plain- he is unlikely to stay a trip, and we have not yet seen a colt from this 2yo crop that can compare to Act of War; Legal Eagle; French Navy etc.
The best of the 2yo fillies is Entisaar - also unlikely to stay, and has big shoes to fill against Carry on Alice and retired Alboran Sea. Chestnuts and Pearls and Princess Royal are very smart, but will still have to prove that they can compete with Majmu, Same Jurisdiction, Sirens Call, Inara etc.
