Opener at Ripon looks like a two horse race between the fav By Far and Candy Banter. The latter ran a few days ago over the 5 on its debut and ran a bit green but woke up in the last part of the race to finish 3rd. Now going over the extra furlong so hopefully would have learnt from its race. By Far making racecourse debut is Shamardal half-brother to several winners, including smart pair Don Bosco (1m-1¼m winner) and Vodkato (9f-10.5f winner). Starts out in a winnable race and market confidence would look significant.

Definate forecast for me and wins on Candy Banter.

Had a big bet at 20/1. It immediately went to 16's. Got backed on the track as expected in to 10's and just got up on the line. All credit to my mate Paul in Kinsale !!!
