Interesting to see that Hollywood has not drifted the Springboks after their dismal showing last weekend. It is also interesting to see the betting for the World Cup vs the International IRB rankings.

Ranking Betting

1) New Zealand 1.3/1

2) Ireland 9/1

3) Australia 7.5/1

4)England 4.5/1

5) South Africa 5/1

6) Wales 22/1

7) France 20/1

8 ) Argentina 60/1

Prices courtesy of Hollywood.

I did not realise that the Boks were as high as 5th. Talking about 5th what money that they lose their 5th straight match this weekend?

I hear this tool HM has been contracted until 2019 WTF ?
8 of the 49 "Proteas" are fit and past the test given before the championship. WTF ?
Now all hell breaks loose over kwotas and Zane is drafted back into the side WTF ?
This tit is grasping at straws and we all could see this side is not fit. Where is their conditioning coach ? Basil Carzis has been busy for four years (some or other program) preparing the "Proteas" WTF ?
Again this tit's professional team are about as useless as himself.
Where are we heading ? Well hopefully COSATU and Tony Ehrenreich can take over the coaching and selection of this side then maybe we have a chance to win the World Cup. WTF ?
The writing is on the wall we will be VERY LUCKY to make the semi's.

Meyer is now beginning to come across as desperate to keep his job. He should step aside now as the Boks wont win the world cup with or without him. Somebody new has to take over and rebuild and the sooner the better

No chance of that. Read his contract has been extended until 2019. I think they trying to get 6/1 for themselves in the world Cup! :P

When your scrumhalf and flyhalf are pretty average you got no chance in hell... :(

The problem I have is that R Pienaar will kill any fly-half. He is so slow and his three step shuffle before passing gives his fly-half no time to do his thing. He should have been booted out about a decade ago.

it matters not a jot if SA are 1/10 on 6/1 or 100/1 they still not going to win the cup with this coach. Now that he has had his contract extended until 2019 I cant see SA winning the world cup for at least another 12 years. Such a shame that a proud rugby nation has been brought to its knees and all because of a coach who can see no wrong in what he is doing.

the most glaring problem with SA rugby is the predictability of everything we do, from selecting the team a week in advance through to selecting a token player of colour every time quotas is in the spotlight
