2 question for the hcappers out there..rock the country left sa off an 85 and returns off an 84 does this rating seem correct ?africain got a max penalty of 8 pounds last time was this warranted and could he have run to a higher rating ?

I think the horse was too..............on pedigree the 1400 looked better suited to the winner!
My thought was that it was lucky it wasn't Nico commentating............he would have been devastated that Striker got nabbed!.........

Interesting the comments of Shaheen........................I had to change my post as I was about to say that although Gavin Lerena is champion and good for him ,real class was shown by Striker today .
This horse Kwinta has plenty ability but is definitely difficult and refused to run a few times for Gavin.................tried to do the same to Striker today but he showed that rare skill of extracting more than a horse intended to give!
That is what puts Striker and Marcus and an "in the mood " Fortune in a class of their own!

Durbs , I certainly rate Delpech and a few other jocks for many of their skills ,but I am referring here to that special and unique ability of "improving" a horse
