Race 1: We have 24Carat running here. He ran a cracker last time, and is on the upgrade. He has a good chance of winning his maiden today. Tough opposition from favourite Auditorium. Show Stealer has the 4kg claim, and Shenyang likely to make good improvement. Bold Aspen ran below best last time, but has good earlier form. A couple of first timers with speed pedigrees complicate matters. Quartet roving bankers 1,4 box 2,5,7,8,9,10
Race 2: Our other runner, Shall be Free is a very nice sort and will appreciate the extra ground, but still learning. Draw 8 first time on the bend is a challenge. With luck in the running he should improve to run in the money. Storm Front has the best form, but a tough draw 11. Crazy Connor improved nicely last time and is drawn well. Ritmo Total is consistent and also drawn nicely. Even Better ran well behind a good sort last time and is improving, but a tricky draw. Nabisco should improve. The Best of Me has draw 1 and has shown ability, but may need this run.

Race 3: After the scratchings, looks a 2 horse race between Beautiful Bird and Jamaica me Crazy. The latter is better value.
Race 4: Competitive Maiden. Best of the older horses is the well tried Baksteen, but not much between him and numbers 1,3,4,5. Knight of Glory and Paladin are improving 3yos, and I think they are the two to beat, with a preference for Knight of Glory.
Race 5: Ready to Attack is the class horse here, and seems leniently rated on 89 given that he has won a decent feature. If he fluffs his lines, then Blow me Away, Albarakah and Red Rex look the best of the rest.
Race 6: Very competitive handicap. Zubbadubbadoo keeps improving, but is now up in the ratings. Global Destiny is a winter specialist, and could surprise. Captain Blackwater and Excellero are useful. Sail for Gold is class, but likely to need it and prefer further. Go wide in the exotics.
Race 7: Ntombe has improved recently, and is clear first choice here. Very open if she does not win.
Race 8: Nordic Wind has strong recent form, and if not finding it too short is the one to beat. Winters Eve, Emerald Rose and Dazzling Dancer the dangers.

Thanks. Was too far back today, made up many lengths. Should win soon- will try 1200m next time. The dam won 1800, so might get a mile later. Dupont mostly a sprint sire even though he was best over a mile.

Last roll of the dice, it's been a case of one foot forward and two steps back for me the entire day :-

22/08/2015 14:25:21 784996 HORSE RACING KENILWORTH Race 3 BEAUTIFUL BIRD Fixed Win 0.71 - Result
22/08/2015 14:25:21 784996 HORSE RACING TURFFONTEIN INSIDE Race 6 MARMALADY Fixed Win 1.25 - Result
22/08/2015 14:25:21 784996 HORSE RACING KENILWORTH Race 8 NORDIC WIND Fixed Win 0.87 - Active
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
