Yeah one bookie who barely lays a bet! Was hoping WSB would have have some presence on their day.
I fancy Shamal today, think she is a massive runner. Also King of Cloth in the 1st.

Some thoughts for the desperate:
R1: King of Cloth needs to repeat his last effort - if he can should be in the first 3 - obviously lots of talk about the first timer
R2: Got burnt last time with Susquehanna - so imo either of the less experienced sand debutantes Perppermint Crisp or Oblivion could upset the 2 fancied runners
R3: Spanish Kiss obviously all the rage - too short imo taking into account that she is a sand debutante - if River Empress was in this race, she would have been priced up a contender, so Mistify Me looks good for the first 3 at least
R4: Sweet Painted Lady should be too good here - dangers La Strada and the Trippi colt Alaca, who should like the surface
R5: Tough - maybe Forest View worth another chance with Marco back - spread a shoe last time
R6: Usisi ran better than her rating last time - only slight concern is that she has been on the boil a while, but if she brings her recent form to the track again, will take a lot of beating - danger fro is Sway, for also won well last time, imo recording a higher rating than given
R7: Competitve - Isphan has the draw and should at least be there - but not a race that I'd go short
R8: Dreadfull lowly rated filles and mares - I think Miesque's Storm was given a look st the surface last time and could surprise at big odds
R9: Not easy; Dakiwe a winner this trip, and is my first choice - however the St John Gray runners can't be ignored
Enjoy

Wishful thinking but having a little on Tolmay's seemingly second string, Gracie Gold, given she has the pro up. Done the three outsiders in miniscule exactas. Should be 1-2 but it is such a dire field anything could happen

Hoping that Ginger Sioux can pull this off for my double with the 1st race.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
