Couple of idiot prices I'm nibbling at...
R5 Northern Corner... 4 runs back was closely matched with Black Tractor over 1000, with the latter now coming off a 20 week rest and has a high draw. 3 runs back NC beat Victorious Jay and Mr Wise Guy (debut) comfortably. The other two have gone on well from there and are drawn 1 and 2 here. NC's last two have not been the best but was reported not striding in penultimate and lto was coming off a 12 week break and on soft conditions for the first time. If the excuses are valid then NC looks a big price here and worth a small e/w at 20s plus.
R7 Big drop in class (and a couple of other things), Seize The Throne a small e/w
R8 Western Movie... tough draw but back on better going WM is not a 20/1 shot imo and at that price is worth a small e/w investment, beat Bold Var back in May by 1l and is now 4.5kgs better off. That was at Kenilworth but both have good records at Durbanville. The latter does have the huge advantage of the 1 box here though.

The collateral form behind Black Tractor's last win is very strong, just the draw puts me off.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Bold Var, the money would suggest this one can't miss.
