You need a lot of luck in this game. You would have been lucky to find the three first timers that won and this one heavily backed no luck at all as it misses the start badly.

Cannot be good for racing when so many first timers are involved in the popular exotics. The vast majority of punters (the lifeblood) play from fields cut out of the daily newspaper. Place their bets and go work etc. What chance for them? Piss poor I reckon. So many horses these days that first timers debut 365 days a year, no longer just the November to February of 3 decades ago.

I found the 1st three 1st timers for exotics but woudn't dare have had a punt on the nose. It's gambling, there is not much to go on anymore, just a lucky packet full of numbers. Prospectus wasn't a banker so I'd never have a go, defintely a inclusion in exotics though. Only banker for me was Bad Dream, prices don't bother me at all.

Celine must be way ahead of the handcapper to win like that must have been hampered twice :)

Great ride

Great ride

Finally cracked a draw and striker up.

2 starts back was drawn on the wrong side at the Vaal, last time drawn 11/11 over Turffies inside over 1450. Didn't have a punt today but keep Celine onside, think she may still be ahead of the handicapper next time.

That's why I say, Fortune did blady well on a cuck ride. I actually thought I had no chance with 500 to go... Now Bright Bronte to bring home the bacon...

Potjie been on the go for 1 hour, Khumalo just made it tastier :woohoo:
