Fortune is the perfect jockey for Stratocruiser, banker in the pa.

Race 8, Dubai Dancing third run for the Crawford stable, those first 2 runs weren't bad and there was some long shot money last run, a bit of rain will probably help her chances....lurker for the day imo.

Mamselle Al - coming back to the 1000m on good ground, at 8/1 is like stealing money.

Miss Marker - stepping up to 1400m should walk this.

Sun Power - just needs to repeat last run.

Eastern Charm - putting my house on it.

Placed a little wager on these 2... Based on nothing more than Snaith doesn't like winning on 1st timers, as he feels the MR kills them, unless they really good, so I am expecting improvement. Both runners at 14/1.

Thornbird - R2
Sub Zero - R3

Course and weather: 15 mm rain, but then cleared up this morning. Still clouds about so could have some showers later. A couple of horses went to gallop at 11am today and jocks reported going is good with the rain having taken the sting out the ground.
Race 5: We have Ashram running in a very competitive F&M handicap. She is well, but has only galloped here, not raced. If enjoying the track has an ew chance.
Crawford has a strong hand with Amarillo Rose and Elusive Wave. In Limine has dropped in the ratings, and looks competitive off this mark. Topless and Colour Magic good recent form. Very open race-go wide in exotics.
Race 1: Persian Silk should appreciate the drop in trip, and is very speedy. She is the one to beat. Mamselle Al,Sandton Rocker and Bay of Biscay for the minor money, but there are a couple of nicely bred first timers to watch out for.
Race 2: Supercilious stands out here, and despite the draw is a bipot and PA banker.

Race 3: Nebula looks the right one here against some nice up and coming 3yos. Giveusagrand has a tough draw to overcome. Doctorow should improve lengths from a fair debut, but is also drawn wide. Show Stealer has the benefit of the 1 draw, and he, Sun Power and Cecil John can all make the frame.
Race 4: Eastern Charm is on the upgrade and is the selection. Avail should challenge. Exclusive Knight is as game as they come and should earn another cheque.
Race 6: Another very competitive F&M handicap. La di var returns from a rest, and if fit is good enough to win. Summer Cruise has good from, but jumps from a wide draw. Silver Banshee and Dixie Express both won at only their second start, and these two are my pick to fight it out.
Race 7: My short list in another tricky contest is Stratocruiser/Buffalo Trip/Panga Panga / Troublemaker.
Race 8: Desert Destiny looks ready to win, but has stiff competition from Bella's Empire, Domina, Little Chapel, Ocean's Swell and Casey's Jet.

wow Fortune at it again! another example that just confirms that jockeys play the biggest part on guiding a horse home based on tactics and pressing the button at the right time with their expertise.
