Need 3 horses at double figure odds at Durbanville today with something of a chance to make up a "for interest" e/w patent. Anyone who can help should reply to ABC on this thread. Many thanks in advance...

PS Anyone know the well being of the Snaith runners...?
Justin and Jonathan make a powerful partnership, and a likeable one. Instilled by their father, they are completely honest and transparent (.... with their clients...)

I like Fascinate and Bonfire Heart as eachways. Best bet on card is Duke the Duke according to my source. Also like My Man Alex. I have played around these.

Top 2 in betting have had very long rests...also Durban Beach has been gelded...and Chennai Babe was in same stable as Durban Beach...too many uncertainties to banker...

Cover with the 1 and 3...fitter horses and jockey on 1 will try to get lead from draw...race 2 will be good pointer to this race as Ernie (Durban Beach form) and Mystical Twilight (3 - Astrapi form) run

Welcome and all the best... :)

Thanks chaps, have formulated a couple of things to at least have an interest.

TT I have DTD to win the first but, just being honest, I find knowing how the Snaith runners will go is a bit like spinning a coin, you never know when they are truly ready to run and will win with something to spare or when they are just going to flop. For a stable that now seems to have some sort of "yard" in 4 different centres I find the lack of info on their runners the "worst" in the industry, they have that many horses, affecting that many races and they simply leave punters guessing. If I remember rightly, I think he has even admitted in interviews that he often uses races to bring horses on in place of a gallop and stated that it probably (lol!!!!) wasn't fair to the punters with a shrug of the shoulders. P1ss poor. Likeable or not.

Anyway... lol

Hugo Montenegro is of a little interest to me in the first, full brother to Lumya who won 2 of her 4 first 4 starts for Zaki, though "interestingly" they were over sprints and HM debuts over 1400.

Have Bonfire Heart in silver to Buckinghamshire though the latter very much falls into the Snaith waffle above. Snaith could easily have the first three winners imo, possibly 4, plus the bit of an unknown quantity in the short priced Francia later.

R3 exacta Durban Beach x Ravishing Lad

Hoping Barossa Valley might show a return to form, had R1 e/w

A small win patent I am trying... R5 Private Doowaley, R7 Dazzling Dancer, R8 Ice Style

Total outlay... my wallet retains most of it's dust ;)

Be(s)t of luck to all

With so many horses...I am sure the Snaiths find it hard to keep track. But if you scrutinise all comments on TT first you will realise how little trainers say in so many words. A good example is Greef . He said Shauntrel is teh right one...yet Dinesan beats her into 3rd.

I also fancy the Marshall horse in the 8th.

Good luck with your bets today Engels! I only play PE and CT recently.

TT... if they have that many horses that they find it hard to keep track, then does that not perhaps imply they are not giving all their horses the full attention that they should? If I had a very good horse they would be considered but if I had a horse of a lesser light they would be a definite no go zone for me. Besides, the Shams are only just across the (750km) street ;) lol

I do PE primarily myself now bud. Bits of the Vaal. Elsewhere I still always look for an idiot and just do a small patent generally for interest, else my days are very dull lol. Have scaled down huge time from a few months back. Good luck to you too bud.

Sorry, NTTG, welcome :)

Right, I've done my reluctant best to get Durbanville over 20 posts for a change lol, over to the "mob" for further comments.... ;)
