Bokked, if you can wait and hope to get a decent comment, all well and good. But, do not forget, most punters work etc and have to place their bets well before the off time. Those comments are useless to anyone who can't watch or wants to place multiple bets etc. I fail to see how/why TT can get one or two comments posted on their facebook page but have to wait until a few minutes before the off to get the majority of others...

DTF is correct that backing the horse at the price it ended up would have been foolish imo but at the early price of 5s I would have had a go, simply based on a poor looking field and a thought that Ideal World's did ok on the surface. Though, even then, with my non-expert or even competent eye lol, I did think the horse might want further. Also, with the course soon to go, I couldn't see the point of running the horse on the sand as a debut outing if there wasn't some confidence it would be suited. Still perplexes me somewhat lol

It's all hindsight I suppose and your right,it's price dependant..
I've backed a debutant ew at Wolverhampton,only because i got 14/1.
I wouldn't go in at single figures..

Race 3 no 2 angelus bell had a win bet on.
The best horse doesn't always win the race.

I really like Master's Spirit in R3 today.

Dont see too many De Kock 3 yo's who win 2nd run with a MR of 68. These horses that he trains for the Sheiks are normally at MR 80+ level

Good draw
Blinkers first time
3rd run after a rest so should be fit
Received betting support
Beautifully bred (still a colt)
Still unexposed - should show improvement as a 3 yo

Going to post he looked like he had good movement in the surface and got his toe in

No inside info but based on the above I make it my best bet for the day.

Hard lines!

You could always look as it as donation to the 'never play a favourite double on the Vaal Sand' fund.
