I watched this race just gone by, I don't waste money on horseracing any longer so I am not talking out of my pocket. One horse, Brads Surge was last to go in. The horse entered the stalls and was clearly unsettled, yet the starter in his wisdom let them go

had a sizeable place punt on fashion secret. shoulda gone a bit e/w bob but im too stubborn on sand.

well stubborn period. inherited from my father. set in my ways already.

woulda been looking at meaninful cash if i went 50/50. but these hindsight shenanigans are ridiculous and degenesque.

see the owner saying i said to them she won't get beat in the interview. who is them ?!?! the chosen few sigh.

Always sad to see a end of an era but fitting that Me Gray won the last race as he trained my favorite sand horse Alimony, have so many great memories of that horse

My 2 cents worth on the Vaal Sand, I am sad to see its closure. It gave horses another lease of life and numerous horses came sand specialists over the years. I caught numerous big payouts on the sand so I should like the venue although I must be lost more than I won. At least I backed one winner today in Super Guppy. End of an era grrrr.

My 2 cents worth.I am not sad to see that track close.I was sad when milnerton, gosforth park, clairwood, even arlington close. I had some good wins on the vaal sand track but that was before the track went to the dogs, bad surface most of the time. This leads to major form turnarounds.
