One day he was telling the rugby world that he has the desire, know how and plan to go forward until after the 2019 wc and the next he says that the team need a fresh start with somebody else. He must have known that he would not be getting offered a new contract so rather than been pushed he walked. Best thing that has happened to SA Rugby since 2007.

Now the team can go forward without Bulls tactics or players playing because the coach made them a promise of playing them even though they had almost lost it (top performances). The new coach must be told that he can select whom he thinks will do the job even if they play for The Kings or a team in Europe and off course it does not matter a jot if they are pink, green or yellow. So long as they are good enough to perform at the highest level. A message to the politicians. Keep out of it and concentrate what you do best. Pulling the wool over the publics eyes and living the life of Larry.

Hope it's not Alistair Coetzee.

I am a Stormers supporter and although he is a good coach SA rugby does not need another defensive minded coach. We have had Heyneke and Jake White, and good as they were, rugby has moved on and unless we bring something new to the game our predictability will continue to be our undoing.

We need to add attacking flair to our solid defence and we have the players to do it well. Look at what Ackerman has done with the Lions that play an 80 minute game of continually outscoring the opposition.

We need a coach that can deliver on this requirement.
