Bob I thinks today is diwali for tamils and then tomorrow is diwali for hindhu's if am not mistaken.

Trip to heaven's best performance came over 1450m on the inside track, me thinks taking a 6/10 over a sprint on the standside is rather too optimistic. Brutal Force should find this sprint very easy, Malta Rocks can make the exacta....

I agree that Trip to Heaven is much too short in the betting ......... (beat One Man's Dream by 1.5 lengths in Nov last year - I know it is a long time ago - and now is much worse off at the weights - so even though TtH can win, I'm playing to beat it). Brutal Force could be the right one depending on whether he handles the lights - for me the value lies with 16/1 shot Morpheus - inside draw probably not in his favor, but ran close enough to Doing it for Dan a while back to suggest he can be competitive here

Looks a nice card imo - thoughts:

R1: Obviously Suyoof - but I can't back him at those odds .....

R2: Sweet Chestnut makes the most appeal from Indzaba - I'm including Pendulum of Life - supported on sand debut and jumps from a good draw, Youcanrockme not to be ignored

R3: Very moderate stayers - at the odds the value lies with Yours and Mine - maybe a small place bet

R4: De Lujo beat Caracal on C's debut - obvious improvement to come form C, but De Lujo looks great place value at around 5/2 - for me Schillaci will prove hard to beat after a good 2nd behind Balylisiana

R5: Competitive fillies and mares handicap - each-way value imo lies with Beautiful Shay - ran to higher than her rating behind Madame Dubois last time - all of Angelic Appeal, Misristocrat, Antonia Major, Eina (draw a big negative), Readyforyourlove and Millenium Reign need consideration

R6: Perfumed Lady look very classy and should prove hard to beat - if you'r looking for something to make the trifecta and quartet pay, include Lady Ky - big deop in MR and could run well fresh - and Brighnumberfour - should improve after being drawn wide last time around the turn

R8: Lucky dip last - load up
