when you read on sahra website that the rainfall in the last 24 hours is 5mm and in the last 7 days 23mm and take into consideration we have hardly had any turf racing in the last 4 months you have to question the future of grass racing at greyville ..these amounts should never lead to moving surfaces and you have to feel sorry for horses that actually enjoy the sting out the ground ....also whats concerning is the number of fancied runners scratched due to change in surface when we being fed the story that the 2 surfaces are very similar..

I can from my side say that I have one filly that I think does really prefer the grass. I wonder if all the horses scratched for change of surface really hated it. I have seen horses scratched when their form looks better on the poly.

Hope teppenyaki repays my faith in him today. It might be the last time!!!

Not serious but did notice that I had a couple of ATC from yesterday running through today and the detail said pending and scratched ( I guess change is surface is scratched ) understandable however glad I checked my status as Sunday can be a bit sociable
