Not saying price is great, just thought I would relay what was mentioned.

Just be careful in that race. I know the right thing to do is to follow the money but the Puller horse (Delpech up) is a massive runner so is Lancat. The above 3 should make up the trifecta but in which order... only the race will tell.

Just thought I should impart this info.

im 2km from the track and its a very hot day and im sure if you took a pen reading at 15.30 which is the time of the first turf race the pen reading will be a lot lower than 31 which to be honest even at 31 is raceable at most if not all other racecourses in the world.. :P

I agree with Pirates.
I don't think it would rain today. The course would have dried sufficiently by then. I suppose an "early" call had to be made though.

Pirates, they moved a few races to the turf to shut a few of us up, but I get the feeling there is absolutely no intention to run on the turf. Every excuse will be made to revert back to the poly. So who has the last laugh ? Definitely not me, so I wasn't wrong with saying a month and a half I will have to wait for grass. As Laff said by racing at Scottsville you increase the field size and give more horses/owners a chance to have a run. Now the excuse is some drainage sloot, wtf, how much time have they had to fix this "new" problem ? I cant imagine having a stayer in Natal, months and months would pass without having a race. What, as you said, about horses looking for wet turf, will they never get an opportunity to run on their preferred surface ? Joke !!
