I'll take my chances at double the price with scare tactics. Will be running at Talbec late and has a good chance of mowing him down with Striker in the irons. Not convinced the better draw warrents the price difference in this one. Talbec was given a pretty easy lead last time and scare tactics is happy to run from the back again. Talbec also doesn't have Delpech this time and he won't be seeing my money at below evens.

Nice write up TSants, thanks for the input, time n effort. Agree with a few you have mentioned.

Bayern, I agree that Lady Scarlett may not have the strongest of lines etc but comparative to many in the field, she must have a very good chance. Potentially poor draw but that was also the case lto. At the price though rather a watch especially with Rose Water being a full sister to one that has competed in a Group 1.

R2 Talbec
R3 First Officer Al

R4 Lundy's Star with Celtic King possibly some value. I agree with TS though in that Movie Man is a big price. Could well enjoy the drop back in trip and is nicely drawn in 4 with the blinkers back on. Not a lot may have come out of that race but then again, I don't think there is a lot in this race either!

R5 Wendish

R6 Sided with Off the Mark. Lots of conflicting info so hard to have confidence in anything but Greyish might be some value but more so Inkolo. Her 3rd 4 runs back over c/d looks to put her in the mix, has a low draw which should assist and last run may have been affected by the "jabs" though I think she might have a preference for this course anyway.

R7 Open but Vulcan for me. Captain's Diva possible value.

R8 Barbel Run looks the obvious one but no course wins (3 silver though) in 9 runs and only one distance win in 16 attempts coupled with a high draw could leave the door open for a surprise. The field is very weak though and I had to go through a process of elimination 3 times before I ended up with Devious Tiger as the possible e/w value. High draw a negative but imo plenty others have potentially more significant negatives. Al Firenze could also be on the scene.

R9 Stairway to Heaven could be some value based on her penultimate effort. Not a race I liked much and ended up thinking it might be worth chancing Itsgottobeme can come back to form at 20s. Back to the minimum trip with plenty excuses recently and hopefully the last run will have sharpened her up. The blinkers come off though and that is a bit of wait and see if it works!

Idiots e/w patent... Movie Man, Inkolo, Itsgottobeme

Be(s)t of luck to all

TSants18 wrote: Tough card but it's cards like this I enjoy! Tons of value about, so let's have it!

Race 1: not the strongest of fields, have a share in Over It but she is a bit dilly so could be anything. I think value to be had with Eternal Fire. Improvement expected.

Race 2: looks a match between Talbec and Scare Tactics, but as a value play I'd rather take places on Post Box. Don't think they have got to the bottom of this ideal world.

Race 3: Thiel can place coming back down in distance. Epano's last race looks to bad to be true. I'll give it another chance.

Race 4: Movie man looks a massive price. Last c&d run was a cracker and as they say, horses for courses. Also like Teagans boy, consistent in the maidens and one who could keep rewarding place backers.

Race 5: Antonia Major comes back to a 1400m and has the blinkers on. Think she will be right there. Best e/w of the day.

Race 6: tough to seperate the top 3, but Lerena sticking with Save The Day might be significant.

Race 7: kappellmeister with striker up at the Vaal is a massive danger, but Vulcan has dropped nicely in the ratings and was a bit unlucky midweek. Could be a successful quick turnaround.

Race 8: Barbel Run looks the classy one in this field but Al Firenze isn't half bad himself and I'd expect to see Zackey ride him aggressively. Devious Tiger can't be ignored either. Nice value.

Race 9: I really liked Roxy Lady but she has been scratched. Therefore I'll take her replacement to get up. Ballerini is a decent animal and with the in form Murray up must be included in all bets.

Have fun and enjoy some competitive racing.

What ever happened to race 2's betting on the Hollywood site?
